Vitamin C Regenerative Balm I This balm provides a potent treatment of sea buckthorn oil, vitamin c, rosehip oil, and cupuacu butter to plump fine lines, repair hyperpigmentation and revive the skin barrier. Its thick, creamy blend of highly concentrated organic plant butters & oils revitalize sensitive, dry skin; using phytoceramides to help strengthen the skin and improve buoyancy. In the summer, this balm is the perfect way to repair and nourish the skin post sun exposure, whereas in winter it provides a great protective barrier against harsh cold, wind and dryness. In the Studio I have been massaging this into the skin prior to offering Light Therapy + arm and hand massage. Our Celluma Red light helps enhance the absorption of its decadent ingredients into your skin while you unwind!
Mineral Purifying Mask I Handcrafted with a beautiful balance of purifying clays and calming botanicals, expect all of the benefits of a traditional clay mask but without the over drying effects that can cause skin imbalance. Natural clay and activated charcoal work to remove impurities and minimize oil production, while colloidal oats, chamomile and zinc oxide calm & soothe inflamed pustules. This mask comes in a powder form that I customize with my hydrating rose mist, clarifying neroli mist, and facial oils depending on your skins needs. If you are blemish prone or have an oily skin type this mask is applied during your neck and shoulder massage and removed with a warm towel before finishing your service with the necessary serums and moisturizer.
Hibiscus Exfoliating Mud I
A 2-in-1 face scrub and exfoliating mask made with a synergetic cocktail of naturally occurring acids and enzymes to gently exfoliate and renew dull, lackluster skin. Hibiscus, and pumpkin work to remove dead skin cells and increase circulation. As the mask sits, rosehip and acai deliver potent antioxidants and vitamins that combat environmental stress and reveal a brighter, firmer, glowing complexion. Colloidal oats, raw honey and aloe vera improve skin hydration and calm the skin. While most will benefit from this mud, it's an absolute must for those experiencing clogged pores, hyperpigmentation or loss of elasticity. At Afterglow Skin Studio this mask is massaged into the skin under steam after extractions then compressed and removed with a warm towel.
